From the end of February 2011 to June 2013 a walk from the Yorkshirewalks collection was featured in an item called "The Walking Weather" on the Russell Walker show on Radio York each Saturday morning. They're all interesting walks within reasonable travelling distance of York, so why not try the lucky dip button for one of these routes to walk yourself?

Yorkshirewalks includes details of walking routes, with photographs and maps, in North Yorkshire, Northern England and a few from my holidays with, I hope, some that are just right for you. Frank
