Welcome to Yorkshire Walks . . .

Use the index map to find a walk in the place you want. (I'm just developing this and so far there are all the routes from my 2005 diary through to my 2009 walking diary. Please let me know what you think)

These pages give details with photographs and maps, of routes that I have enjoyed walking in North Yorkshire and a few from my holidays. I live between the two great National Parks of North Yorkshire; the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors so it's no surprise that hill walking is my main hobby. I do hope that you will enjoy looking at these pages and if you can visit North Yorkshire I'm sure that you'll become as enthusiastic about it as I am - Frank

Starting from August 2001 up to date I have kept "My Walking Diary" with notes, photographs and now Ordnance Survey maps of my walks with around 300 routes so far, mostly in North Yorkshire and I'm adding new routes as fast as I can walk them! If that's not enough you can always use my "Request a Route" service and there are a few route descriptions to print out too.
