Welcome to Yorkshire Walks . . .

Here you will find details of walking routes, with photographs and maps, in North Yorkshire, Northern England and a few from my holidays with, I hope, some that are just right for you. I have divided them into 1, 2 and 3boot walks based on their length, but there can be fairly strenuous walks in any of these categories. Alternatively you can browse through "My Walking Diary" which I started keeping from August 2001 up to date, with notes, photographs and now Ordnance Survey maps of my walks with around 300 routes so far, mostly in North Yorkshire and I'm adding new routes as fast as I can walk them! If that's not enough you can always use my "Request a Route" service and there are a few route descriptions to print out too.
