"Our World". . .
A tiny blue and white ball in the blackness
is how the Apollo crews saw the earth in the 60's.
James Lovelock saw the earth as Gaia
with all its natural interactions keeping our world in balance.
But the worldly wise care nothing for Gaia.
"Scaremongering" scientists warn of climate change they say,
But each successive forecast has been found not pessimistic enough.
Much too little, much too late
The politicians tardy dance is futile in the face of Gaia's power
Where will it all end?
Only our grandchildren will discover and wonder at our selfish disregard.
