Lyke Wake Club

The new Lyke Wake Club
was formed to carry on the Lyke Wake traditions when the present club closed
in 2005 but the original club was opposed to the formation of this new organisation
The Pennine
Way Association The Pennine Way was the first official long distance footpath
to be opened in Britain, and is undoubtedly the best known. It follows the
central upland spine of England north from Derbyshire to the Scottish border.
